Sudhir Amembal spearheads GLR. He is CEO of Amembal & Associates, the world's most highly respected training and consulting firm in the field of equipment leasing.
In 1978, he co-founded Amembal & Isom, the first entity in the world formed to serve the varied needs of the global equipment leasing industry. Entities under Mr. Amembal's stewardship have trained over 60,000 leasing professionals throughout the world.
As an educator, he has conducted leasing seminars in over 70 countries. As a government advisor, he has led consultancy projects for over 20 national governments. As an author, he has authored, co-authored and published 16 leasing industry publications, including the current best-seller, Winning With Leasing.
Mr. Amembal has chaired the annual World Leasing Convention each year since 1993, and is co-publisher of World Leasing News, the leading online leasing periodical in the world.
His passion has not only been the world of leasing, but also animal welfare and rights.

Lisa Rafter
Sr. Vice President / Deputy Editor
Lisa Rafter has been publishing in the equipment leasing and finance industry since 1988. Ms. Rafter served as former editor of the Monitor for 17 years. Under her leadership, the Monitor grew from a black and white, 16 page bi-monthly newspaper to a beautiful full-color 100+ page monthly publication.
Ms. Rafter’s experience includes both successfully launching new publications and reviving existing publications to obtain a stronger position in the marketplace.
Ms. Rafter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology. She also has longstanding leadership roles in many community projects and services and currently is a leader in an educational organization committed to providing people with tools and distinctions to live an extraordinary life.
Ms. Rafter is co-publisher of World Leasing News.

Kelly Farnham
Kelly Farnham is the Advertising/Sales Manager for GLR. She also works for two other affiliated entities — World Leasing News (Advertising/Sales Manager) and Amembal & Associates (Executive Assistant). She joined the group in 2006. She has an extensive background in accounting, business administration, computers and database management.
Cesar Rios
Cesar Rios is the Database Manager for GLR. He has worked with Amembal & Associates since 1999 in varied capacities including database management, inventory control, publication dispatch and word processing.

Rodger Garrison
Rodger Garrison is a Principal with MEGA Consulting. His 38 years of banking, finance, and leasing experience has encompassed key managerial positions with Amegy Bank of Texas, New Court Financial, and Debis. He has also served the industry in varied consulting roles for independent banks, lessors, lessees, and vendors. He also conducted a host of seminars for banks and vendors. He served as former President of the Texas Association of Equipment Lessors.

Francisco Gomez is the Executive Senior VP for Asset Based Finance
at Leasing Bancolombia. He founded Renting Colombia, a Fleet
Equipment Lease Company, in 1998 and Suleasing Internacional, a
Latin-America Cross Border Leasing Company, in 1999 in which he served
as its former President. He has also held the position of Senior VP
of International Business for Leasing Bancolombia. He holds a degree
in Business & Administration from the Universidad Eafit in Medellín,
Colombia.

Ron Hardaker
Ron Hardaker has been a Director of the Australian Equipment Lessors Association since its formation in 1986. Mr. Hardaker is also Executive Director of the Australian Finance Conference. His responsibilities encompass economic, tax, industrial relations, public affairs and legislative matters affecting finance sector markets, products and participants. Mr. Hardaker has wide experience in finance and leasing industry issues having appeared before government inquiries and made many presentations and submissions on behalf of his members.

Vinod Kothari
Vinod Kothari is internationally recognized as an author, trainer, consultant and expert on financial subjects-such as securitisation, credit derivatives, asset backed financing,and operating leasing. As such, he lectures all over the world.He is one of India's top leasing experts. He is the author of Lease Financing & Hire Purchase, widely recognised as the bible on leasing in the continent. In addition, he has written books on securitisation, credit derivatives and enforcement of security interests. He is the Director of Association of Leasing and Financial Services Cos., a body of leasing companies in India.

Mariella Liverani
Mariella Liverani is currently the Head of M.E.N.A. for Banca Agrileasing in Italy. Her duties include being responsible for the Bank’s Representative Office in Tunisia. From 1997 to 2010 she has also held the position of Director of Innovation and Development for the Bank. She serves on the Board of BCC Lease SpA, the rental company controlled by Banca Agrileasing. She served as Past President of International Finance & Leasing Association (IFCA). She holds a degree in Economics & Business Studies from the London Polytechnic of Economics.

Loni Lowder
Loni Lowder is Manager of ACC Contract Finance and President and CEO of ACC Capital Corporation. Mr. Lowder founded ACC Capital, an equipment lease and finance company, in 1978. He founded ACC Contract Finance in 2009. The combined companies fund over $60 million annually in equipment flash service cost. Mr. Lowder was a principal partner and member of the Board of Directors of Amembal & Associates. He also placed as a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Utah. He has appeared numerous times as a guest speaker at the World Leasing Conference.

Raphael Parambi
Raphael Parambi is currently Chief/Mentor of ESAF Microfinance & Investments (ranked 14th in the world in the microfinance industry). As founding CEO of Muscat Finance Co., he pioneered Leasing in Oman. He also served as Oman’s representative at the UNIDROIT panel for leasing legislation. He is an Alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur; XLRI, Jamshedpur; and the Harvard Business School, Boston.

Jonathan Ruga
Jonathan Ruga is the co-founder and CEO of Sentry Financial Corporation, an international equipment financing and leasing company. He has been active in the leasing industry since 1978. He has co-authored several books and articles on equipment leasing, and has taught seminars on the tax and legal aspects of equipment leasing. He holds B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance, an M.B.A. degree, and a law degree. He serves on several charitable boards including High Road for Human Rights, and the S.J. Quinney College of Law, and recently joined the Board of Trustees of St. Mark’s Hospital.

Bulent Tasar
Bulent Tasar is the CEO of Siemens Leasing Turkey and Chairman of the Turkish Leasing Association. He has been active in key management roles in the leasing industry since 1985. He served as General Manager of Vakif Leasing and as Managing Partner of Rant Leasing prior to joining Siemens Leasing in 1988. He holds a B.A. degree from Hacettepe University, a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, and another postgraduate degree in Management Science from the University of Kent.
